Durango Embroidery & Print offers several print technologies. There are no minimums for silkscreening services, although certain methods are more cost-effective on small orders. See our pricing guide for details or request a quote. Standard turnaround time for silkscreen orders is 5-15 working days depending on the number of colors and complexity of design.  Rush service is available for an additional fee. Our silkscreen services include:

 CUSTOM DIRECT

This is our standard method of print.  Spot or Pantone colored paint is applied to the garment using a silkscreen, heat, and high-pressure.  Quantity, type of garment, number of design colors, complexity of design, number of imprints per garment, and readiness of artwork can all affect per piece pricing and set-up costs.   Premium pricing applies for polyester and nylon fabrics. 

DIRECT-TO-GARMENT/SUBLIMATION

This method allows for full color images using vibrant, permanent inks. The image is permanently dyed into the shirt fibers. This method works on all colors, although best results are obtained on light-colored fabric. This method is recommended on small orders with a high-colored design.  It is not cost-effective for larger orders.

PHOTOGRAPHIC TRANSFER

This method also allows for full color images such as photographs and reflective art using CMYK inks. It is designed for 100% cotton or 50/50 blended cotton fabrics. Artwork is transferred to high quality photographic transfer paper and is then applied to the garment using heat and high pressure. This is an excellent way to recreate artwork images on a shirt.
